Principles of personal information protection
We abide by the following principles of personal information protection.
- 1) The company clearly defines the purpose of handling personal information and collects the minimum necessary information properly and legitimately within the limits required for that purpose.
- 2) The company handles personal information properly within the limits required for the purpose of handling it and does not use the information for any other purposes.
- 3) The company maintains the accuracy and recency of personal information within the limits required for the purpose and does not unduly alter or damage the information in the process of handling it.
- 4) The company considers the possibility and risks of violation of the rights of data subjects according to the methods and types of handling of personal information and manages the information safely through adequate managerial, technical, and physical protection measures.
- 5) The company discloses the details on how it handles personal information including the personal information policy and develops reasonable procedures and methods for the protection of the rights of data subjects including claims for inspection.
- 6) The company handles personal information in a way to minimize the violation of the privacy of data subjects when it handles personal information legitimately within the limits required for the purpose of handling it.
- 7) After collecting personal information legitimately, it handles the information anonymously if the goal of the operation can be achieved based on anonymity.
- 8) The company strives to earn the confidence of data subjects by complying with and practicing its responsibilities and duties stipulated in relevant laws and regulations.
