LIG Nex1 participates in Colombiamar 2025, an international naval defense exhibition

LIG Nex1 (CEO/President Shin Ick-hyun) will participate in Colombiamar 2025, an international naval defense conference held at the Cartagena convention center from March 12 to 14 in Colombia.
Colombiamar is a biennial conference and exhibition hosted by the Colombian Navy and Colombia's state-owned shipbuilder, Cotecmar,
to foster technological and informational exchanges for the advancement of the shipbuilding and defense industries.
Through this conference, LIG Nex1 plans to introduce maritime weapons
such as the C-Star (ship-to-ship guided missile) and the Blue Shark(lightweight torpedo) and pursue co-promotion with HD Heavy Industries
to expand its presence in the Latin American market. Furthermore,
it will organize a special event by inviting Colombian veterans of the Korean War and their families ato the exhibition and presenting them with gifts.
Latin America has been a strategic export region for LIG Nex1 since it opened a liaison office in 2011
and started participating in Expodefensa, an international exhibition for the defense and security industries of Colombia,
from 2012. As such, LIG Nex1 has continued export promotions to local acquisition officials.
LIG Nex1 plans to use this conference as an opportunity to align with Latin American countries, including Colombia, in modernizing their forces and to lead the global advancement of K-Defense.
