Remembering fallen soldiers ahead of West Sea Protection Day

LIG Nex1 (CEO/President Shin Ick-hyun) visited the West Sea Protection Hall at the Republic of Korea Navy’s 2nd Fleet in Pyeongtaek on March 11,
ahead of West Sea Protection Day (the fourth Friday of March every year), for a memorial event attended by around 70 executives and employees, including new recruits.
On this day, LIG Nex1 executives and employees honored the soldiers who gave their lives in defending the sea of Korea, and reaffirmed their commitment
as members of a defense company contributing to self-reliant national defense by developing cutting-edge weapons systems.
West Sea Protection Day was established to honor those who died defending the country during the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong in 2002,
the sinking of the Cheonan warship in 2010, and the shelling of Yeonpyeong Island in 2010.
